Shiloh was the remarkable Labrador who started it all. She captured our hearts with her warm, outgoing personality, classic English build, and the gentle, steady temperament that first drew us to the English Labrador Retriever. Our love for her inspired a passion for the breed that would eventually become Kingridge Kennels. Shiloh came from an exceptional pedigree with numerous champions on both sides. While her lineage was impressive, it was her character that left the greatest impression. She welcomed affection from our young children with endless patience, considered our cat and every neighborhood dog a friend, and possessed the joyful, eager-to-please spirit that defines the Labrador Retriever. Although Shiloh is no longer with us, her influence lives on in the philosophy that continues to guide Kingridge today. She reminded us that exceptional Labradors are remembered not only for their beauty and pedigree, but for the quiet way they become part of a family’s story. Every Kingridge puppy is, in many ways, part of the legacy she began.
